The US Postal Service will increase stamp prices on Sunday, July 10, 2023. The cost of a first-class mail stamp will rise from 63 cents to 66 cents. This marks the third price increase in the last 12 months. The USPS states that these increases are necessary due to escalating costs, including inflation and the decline in first-class mail volume.

Other mail types will also have new prices. For Priority Mail, the cost will be $8.55 for the first ounce, with an additional $0.55 for each extra ounce. Priority Mail Express will be priced at $27.75 for the first pound, plus $1.70 for every additional pound.

Media Mail will have a rate of $3.75 for the first pound, with an additional $0.21 for each extra pound. Parcel Select Ground will be $8.95 for the first pound, along with $0.95 for each additional pound.

In addition to these changes, the USPS provides various other services like certified mail, return receipt, and signature confirmation. The prices for these services might also increase on Sunday.
