Akasa Air Orders New Jets to Boost Operations

Akasa Air has placed an order for four additional Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets, bringing its total order to 72. The new order is expected to be delivered in 2023 and 2024.

Akasa Air is a low-cost carrier that was launched in 2022. It is the first Indian airline to order the Boeing 737 MAX 8. As the first Indian airline to place an order for the Boeing 737 MAX 8, Akasa Air aims to operate a fleet of 72 of these aircraft by 2027.
