The conflict has seen Russian forces making advances in the Donbas region, but they have faced substantial losses. On the other hand, Ukrainian forces have successfully dealt significant blows to the Russian side. Moreover, the West has provided substantial military aid to Ukraine, bolstering their defense efforts.
