A fashion show in Noida’s Film City turned tragic when a 24-year-old model, Vanshika Chopra, lost her life after an iron pillar collapsed on the ramp. The incident occurred during the show at Laxmi Studio in Sector 16A, leaving another person, Bobby Raj, injured.

At approximately 1.30 pm, during the fashion show, an iron pillar, originally set up for lighting purposes, fell onto the ramp. Regrettably, the model, Vanshika Chopra, suffered immediate fatality due to the incident. The injured man, Bobby Raj, was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

The police have taken swift action by filing a case against the fashion show organiser and four others, invoking relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The accused have been apprehended and are currently undergoing questioning.
