A Gujarat couple who were kidnapped in Iran while seeking to reach the US illegally have returned to India.

We were lucky to be alive,” Jignesh Rathod said. “But many people do not make it. They are either killed or imprisoned.”
The Rathods said that they are now planning to start a new life in India. They said that they want to focus on their family and their business.
