Christine Baumgartner, the estranged wife of Kevin Costner, is requesting $248,000 a month in child support. The couple filed for divorce in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They have three children together: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.
Baumgartner’s attorneys claim that the amount is insufficient for the children’s lifestyle. They highlight Costner’s monthly earnings of around $1.5 million as a wealthy actor.
Costner’s attorneys have not yet filed a response to the request for child support. However, they have previously said that they believe the amount is excessive.
