Byju’s Settles PF Dues of Rs 123 Crore, Employees to Receive Payment Within Days

Byju’s has transferred Rs 123 crore to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for a 10-month period from August 2022 to May 2023. This ensures that the company’s employees will receive their PF dues.

The payment was made in response to a notice from the EPFO, which demanded the settlement of the dues. The EPFO had warned of potential consequences if the payment was not made.

  • Byju’s has committed to paying the remaining arrears of Rs 3.43 crore within the next few days.

This payment brings relief to Byju’s employees, who were concerned about the delayed PF dues. It enables them to accumulate savings for retirement and provides financial security in case of emergencies.

I appreciate Byju’s for taking this action, and I hope other companies will follow suit. Timely payment of PF dues is crucial for employees, as it represents their hard-earned money.
